For times when you want to browse something Private, you must browse in 'incognito mode' of your chrome or Firefox Browser because of the following features....
- Pages you view in incognito mode don't appear in your browser history or search history,
- It don't leave traces, cookies on your computer as it deletes all traces and cookies after you close all incognito windows.
- Download files dont leave records in download history.
Extra Feature: Not only all above features, i would like to add one more.... that i like very much that 'Using incognito mode you can sign in from 2 accounts at same time.... for example you have 2 accounts on yahoo, and you want to keep open both, then u can keep login from both.. one in normal mode and other in incognito mode' :)
Chrome:
There are many ways to open a incognito mode window:
- Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar, then click on New Incognito Window
- Or, in taskbar right click on your opened chrome > New Incognito Window
- Or, Direct keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + n
Firefox:
- In taskbar right click on your opened firefox > Enter Private Browsing
- Or, Direct keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + p
